Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a floor based practise holding the poses for a longer time to help promote flexibility to the joints, as we get older muscle tissues shrink so by exercising the muscles this will help to regrow healthy tissues by hydrate and repair muscle tissue and fascia which will allow for a greater range of motion.

Learning to be still in the poses will develop your ability to recreate the peaceful state of immobilizing inner calm.

Yin Yoga will amplify chi and reduce nervous energy. By using the breath in the poses will help to calm the mind and ease into the stretch, working the inner organs and inner systems.

Flexibility of the joints brings ease and lightness into the body

Yang Yoga

Yang Yoga is more of an active practise working on the muscles and blood flow building strength, stamina and flexibility and is instrumental in strengthening the energy flow to the mind. The practise will strengthen and tone the body, removes tension and obstacles in the body to allow breath and energy to flow.
